Virat Kohli former Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper is a fitness freak who follows a strict diet. In several interviews, he has said that staying fit helps him perform better on the pitch.

The 34-year old uploaded a hilarious picture to his Twitter account featuring RCB Strength and Conditioning Coach Shanker Basu and wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karathik. Basu is seen giving a cheese pouch to Kohli, who declined it. Karthik on the other hand was seen staring in awe at the food.

Kohli posted the photo with the caption “Trainer Test. Basu sir- do you want a cheese pocket? “No way, dk”

This Indian Premier League season, the former RCB captain has shown good form. He has scored 438 runs in 12 matches, with an average of 39.81. His strike rate is 131.53. This includes six half-centuries. His best was an unbeaten knock of 82 runs. In his last two matches, he scored just 18 and 1 run.

RCB has not yet made it to playoffs and is ranked fifth in the points table despite winning six of their twelve matches. The wins have earned them 12 points.

They will play on May 18. The next match will be against Aiden Markram’s Sunrisers Hyderabad, on May 18. RCB’s next match is against SRH on May 18.
