Eva Herzigova, a Czech model, is now a MetaHuman. The model revealed Tuesday that a digital version of her is available in the form Epic Games’ MetaHumans. According to a release, Herzigova participated in a motion-capture shoot and was scanned using a “70 camera system” to create a realistic digital avatar.
The release states that “Eva’s MetaHuman is now ready for re-dressing, posing and lighting, hair and makeup restyles, and her facial expressions and body are ready to animated using traditional animation or motion capture.” Herzigova’s MetaHuman is now ready to be used in virtual fashion shows, and for modelling digital clothing — hopefully better fashion events that Metaverse Fashion Week.

Epic introduced MetaHumans back in 2021, to make it easier for users to create realistic digital human beings. Since then, the company has improved the MetaHumans. Now you can capture realistic facial animations directly from your iPhone beginning this summer. Herzigova’s not the only famous person who has turned themselves into a MetaHuman. NBA star Luka Doncic also introduced , a MetaHuman of himself, in September.

MetaHuman is a virtual assistant that allows you to travel to London, Paris and New York while cooking dinner at home.
Eva is the first real supermodel who has been transformed into a hyperrealistic 3D avatar. The avatar was made using Epic Games MetaHuman technology. This is a framework that allows for highly realistic digital human characters to be animated.
